Next, use a wrench or impact socket over the hex at the rear of the removal socket to release the nut/screw/bolt by turning it as a unit with the removal socket. If needed, you can also use a drift to strike the rear end of the socket to release the nut/screw/bolt from the bolt extractor.

Please note that when removing the nut/screw/bolt from the remover, it may require considerable force. Make sure to choose the appropriate size of the remover, with the bite not too deep or too shallow to fit the nut/screw/bolt.
